HARRIS, Ryland Lewis, 68, of Mineral, died Monday, January 14, 2008. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert D. Harris; and is survived by his wife, Dianne Hicks Harris; his brother, Charles W. Harris of Richmond; his sisters, Ann H. Doss of Virginia Beach, and Rachael H. Christman of Hampton. His remains rest at the Lacy Funeral Home, Route 522, Mineral, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Hopeful Baptist Church, with interment in church cemetery. Ryland was a hunter safety instructor for the state of Virginia.
