Shirley Ann Rigsby Green, 73, of Rockville died Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter Kim Billy, her son Daryl Kathy and her grandchildren, Logan and Jakota. Shirley also leaves behind her sister, Virginia G. Smith, her brother Johnny Rigsby Peggy, and many nieces and nephews.
Her remains rest at Lacy Funeral Home, Route 522, Mineral, where family will receive friends, 6pm to 8pm on Friday June 10. A graveside funeral will be held at 2pm on Saturday June 11, 2011 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa.
May the angels wrap their loving arms around Shirley and guide her to the heavens where peace and love abound. She was a strong, wonderful person who stood by her family and gave one hundred percent. It was a pleasure to know her and I will always remember her laughter.
Shirley was a wonderful person whom my family has known for many, many years. She left us behind rather suddenly, but as she did, she left us with many wonderful memories to cherish throughout our days until we all meet again. I know to all those that loved her so much, she will truly be thought of daily. May peace be with her family throughout these lonely days without her, as she has had someone waiting to greet her in heaven for a long time.
