BOULERICE, Wayne George, 61, of Mineral, died Thursday, March 6, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Arlene J. Boulerice; his children, Gabrielle’ Lynne and Drew Bradway of Spotsylvania, Melissa and Shawn LaValley of Mooers Forks, N.Y., Gary and Jan Boulerice of Champlain, N.Y., Karen Boulerice of Plattsburgh, N.Y. and Margaret and Peter Chevelier of Champlain, N.Y.; also several nieces and nephews. A memorial funeral mass will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Spotsylvania. Inurnment with military honors will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Mr. Boulerice was born January 31, 1947 in Plattsburgh, N.Y., son of the late George William and Helene’ Bechard Boulerice and was a retired Captain from the New York State Department of Corrections. He served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967 during the Vietnam War, and served with the Champlain Fire Department for 12 years, two as 1st Lieutenant and two as Fire Chief. He was a member of the American Legion for 29 years and was a recent member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Arrangements by Lacy Funeral Home, Route 522, Mineral, Va. Dear Arleen & Family,Our heart felt condolenses go out to you at the loss of Wayne. Bob and I thought of you often over the past 5 months and do miss you as our neighbors. We had to be careful not to get stuck in the snow because you were gone from the North Country. May Wayne rest in peace.

Arlene, I still remember your wedding day. What a great couple you were. Gabby you had a great supportive father, especially through all of your 4-H and horse showing years.
