Wendy Whitley Heim
December 2, 1980 – February 5, 2025
Wendy Whitley Heim, age 44, of Stuarts Draft, VA, unfortunately passed away on February 5, 2025. She passed away at UVA hospital due to colon cancer. Wendy graduated from Radford with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, but she also had a passion for driving and investigating. She had multiple careers in her life including, anthropologist, PI, and delivering services. She is survived by her two children whom she loved more than anything, Aden and Makayla; her parents, Michael and Debbie; older brother, Michael Jr.; and her cat, Gracie. She was widowed in 2022 when her husband, Anthony Heim, tragically died in a car accident. Besides being an amazing mom who would do anything for her kids, she was also brave, ambitious, strong willed, smart, adventurous, and among everything else, perfect. Even when facing all the problems in life she was still able to push through everything. It is heartbreaking this world had to lose her so soon. It is tragic that her life ended the way it did, hopefully it can bring awareness to cancer. I’m proud to call her my mother, I’m proud she was my mother. Long live Wendy Whitley Heim.

Wendy was an amazing person and a very good friend I’m really sorry we didn’t get to get together like we wanted to that last time life just kept getting in the way of us I know that our dad’s had to pull us apart because we talk to much but we left with a hug saying we would see each other again and catch up soon I will see you again and we will catch I’m gonna miss you
Wendy was a wonderful and kind person. she would always give you a hug and a big smile. I have missed not seeing her. I’m so sorry for the family’s loss. She’s in Heaven now and no longer in pain.
Wendy was my childhood best, best friend. I’ve not had another best friend because nobody could ever fill her shoes. She planted the seed of Hope in my life when she brought me to church at age 12, and although she never knew it, I did eventually surrender my life to Jesus Christ. I thank God for you, Wendy, a truly beautiful soul.
I’ll always remember Wendy’s big beautiful smile!
I’ve known Wendy sinse She was a baby, she was full of energy, and as she got older she was fun to be around.I think the last time I remember being with her was going to king’s dominion. Wendy my daughter Annie, and myself had a wonderful time. On our way out we had a big old ice cream cone. she laughed and joked the whole time and we laughed at and with her
My daughter Amanda and her, were best of friends since they were little and have remained so over the years. I was so sorry to hear that She passed. She was young lady with two children. my prayers are with them and their family at this time
