William Earl Noblett

William Earl Noblett, 80, of Richmond, VA passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was born April 24, 1936 in Newland, NC to the late, Troy and Thelma Noblett.
He was a member of College Ave Baptist Church, Lenoir, NC; served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1958; and then worked as foreman/superintendent in Construction.
He is survived by his wife of 53 plus years, Yvonne Noblett; four children; Michael (Fran), of Petersburg, Lisa (Daniel), of Mineral, Cindy, of Louisa, and Tammy(Darren), of Richmond; three grandchildren, Taylor, Parker and Victoria; and a brother, Jim (Angelika).
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm on Wednesday, October 26th at Lacy Funeral Home, Mineral, VA. A graveside service will be officiated by, Pastor Mike Nickle at 11am on Thursday, October 27th at Spring Grove Cemetery, Mineral, VA.
(William) Bill was my only brother and a brother in Christ as well, whom I Love with all my heart. He was responsible for the construction of about half of downtown Richmond as a tradesman/foreman and made his mark among people who wanted things done & done right. He has no more suffering and is with our Lord Jesus Christ today and will be sorely missed by his family & friends. Peace to those who need to carry on in his absence. May he reside in their hearts forever.

Dad, thank you for all the wonderful memories from picinics on side of the blue ridge, riding on the back of the truck to the RIR infield, riding mini bikes and motor cycles, the trips to North Carolina,Grand father mountain, and the list goes on but most of all thank you for being a great dad and best friend a girl could ever have. I love you and miss you but I know you will be watching over me.
