Delmon Leon Clay Jr., 55, of Goochland County passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
Mr. Clay was a member of Gum Spring United Methodist Church and was a 31 year U.S. Army Veteran, who served two tours in Iraq.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa T. Clay; daughter Jessica R. Hopper (Joe); mother Loretta G. Barton; brother Bryan Clay (Kristy); grandchildren Caleb Nash Hopper, Annabelle Grace Hopper and Levi Clay Hopper. He was preceded in death by his father, Delmon Leon Clay Sr; and a sister, Barbara K. Clay.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 24 at Gum Spring United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
